The ibVPN service worked great for me the last 2 years. The servers were available whenever I needed them and were fast enough for streaming. The app got regular updates and became simpler for less experienced users. Also the enduser support is excellent. Unfortunately the swiss VPN server was removed from the iOS package so I need to rethink if I renew the subscription.

I paid 2 Times, one Time for 6 Month and one Time for 3 Month and I was NOT able to get a VPN Connection!

Crashes on login. Useless.

Wasnt able to create account, registration failed every time.

But thought Id give it a try. Did the automatic setup. You get 3 servers using the free trial, each with two kinds of connections (pptp and l2tp), which is good because pptp is blocked in countries like China. The servers are in US, UK and the Netherlands. The first server I connected to (the default US server in PPTP) refused the connection. I thought "great, just wasted 3 minutes with this!" I tried another server though, and it worked. Checked the ip, it showed UK, no proxy. The speed was good. Checked the other servers, including the one that refused connection at first, and they all worked. Didnt notice any significant speed drops and they connected in seconds. I also went online and read some reviews online raving about how responsive their tech support is. Time will tell, Ill update this if anything changes, but so far it works great. For the developers: Not sure why the default connection didnt work, it might have been a problem on my end but perhaps you should check anyway. Im sure many users will give up on your service when they see "connection refused" at the first try.

Within a few hours of installing (and to use you have to give it access to change things in your iPhone) I was receiving non stop texts from some plan your trip India garbage over and over telling me Ive won and they need my credit card info and stuff they didnt stop until I took this apps permission away to change settings on my phone!!! I would be super wary of having any sort of billing go to these guys... With that said as soon as this app was working I was able to have a us ip address for netflix... But Ill never take my chances with that again.

The best out there except I only rate 3 stars as they dont include P2P as an addon for even a small additional fee

When I knew that I was moving to a part of the world that blocks many services I read reviews and "test drove" a number of VPN services from Canada. ibVPN was by far the easiest to install, use, pay for, and VERY importantly provide after-sales support. I am totally happy and have not the slightest inkling of going anywhere else for provision of VPN services.

Ive been using this app and this service for over a week now. Its not my habit to write a review after such a short period. I prefer to base my judgement on a longer period. So far so good, very good in fact. I had a slight problem with the initial authentication but a fast and efficient customer service solved that issue quickly. So, so far so good, very good in fact. But my VPN works flawless.

Probabily best with pro version ?
